Current Responsibilities


Diana is in charge of the Group’s Pensions Delivery Services and is a director of BWCI Consulting Limited, which specialises in actuarial and consultancy services to employee benefit clients. She advises Channel Islands, Isle of Man, UK and international clients on a wide range of employee benefits issues, focusing on pension matters such as scheme design, actuarial valuations and regulatory compliance.

She is also the Staff Partner, responsible for the education and training of the Group’s staff in both general business skills and professional qualifications; the latter including a comprehensive actuary training and mentoring programme. In 2003, she led the Group to win the prestigious Excellence in Training annual award sponsored by the Guernsey Training Agency and the Institute of Directors.


Experience


Diana joined the firm in 1981, qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1988 (becoming the first actuary to qualify locally in the Channel Islands) and was made a partner in 1991. She holds a Scheme Actuary certificate issued by the Institute of Actuaries. Among her clients, Diana advises several major UK charities and the States of Guernsey government.

Diana was the founding editor of Bandwagon, the Group’s quarterly newsletter, which has evolved to become the most widely read publication in the Channel Islands on pensions, employee benefits, life assurance and related matters.
