Current Responsibilities
Mark is Head of the Group’s Investment Consultancy Services and a director of BWCI Consulting Limited. He joined the Group in 2003, and specialises in providing investment and actuarial consultancy services to corporate clients such as pension scheme trustees, captive insurance companies and life assurance companies.
Mark holds a number of non-executive directorships for Guernsey-based investment and insurance companies.
Mark is also a director of BWCI Limited, which specialises in providing actuarial and consultancy services to both general insurance and life assurance companies, and a director of BWCI Insurance Management Limited, which specialises in the management of insurance companies underwriting long term (life assurance) business and the provision of corporate insurance broking and advisory services.
Experience
Before joining the Group, Mark worked for Guardian Royal Exchange in the UK, where he qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1991.
He moved to Guernsey in 1995 to work for an international business subsidiary of Royal & Sun Alliance, where he was the Appointed Actuary.
He was responsible for ensuring corporate solvency and regulatory reporting, both in Guernsey and in Hong Kong.
In 1996 he moved to join Generali Worldwide Insurance Company Limited as the Appointed Actuary and was subsequently promoted to General Manager and Director.
Mark personally acted as the account manager to the company’s largest corporate client and oversaw the investment management, monitoring and management of their funds.
