James joined BWCI in November 2023 as a Compliance Manager. He is an experienced compliance professional within the insurance sector, having held the prescribed positions of Compliance Officer, MLRO and MLCO for a number of GFSC regulated entities in his previous roles. James has built up extensive knowledge of Guernsey laws, rules and regulations, and has sat on various committees, including the GFSC Handbook Working Group and the Regulatory and Technical Committee of the Guernsey International Insurance Association. James is a professional member of the International Compliance Association, having attained diplomas in Governance, Risk and Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing and Financial Crime Prevention. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
